Photoshop

For this project we had to do a "guess what happens next" picture using photoshop. I really enjoyed this project because we could do whatever we wanted and be as creative as photoshop would allow us to be. what i chose to do is a cheerleader tumbling into a hole in the mat that she didnt see. What i did is i used a reguar picture of a cheer gym then i took a picture of a girl doing a full and cropped it to just her and did the same with the hole and put them together and tada! A cheerleader about to fall in a hole. Also with photoshop we made two other pictures as a group. I really enjoyed working with photoshop becuase its a different style of art and we got to work with new materials and such. I didnt get to work out the final details with the frog tounge and the rhebra but

Pastels

I really enjoyed this pastel project but there were certain things about it that i didnt like. One thing i loved is that i love to work with pastels, because you can mix the colors and blend them into gorgeous colors like my blue background. My favorite object in my picutre is the flowers, i deffinitly worked the longest and hardest on those. One thing i didnt like is that we had to draw what was displayed on the table in front of us. I would have rather been able to do something of our choosing. If I could do this over i would have worked a little harder on it. I know i deffinitly could have put more details and such into this pastel drawing. Despite these drawbacks, I still really enjoyed this project.

Monsters

This project was hands down one of my very favorites. What we did is we all got a monster that was drawn by a kindergarten class and  we made it out of clay then once it was fired we got to paint it with acryllic paint to look like the child imagined it. Also the computer art class made us backgrounds to put our monsters with so it seems like a real action figure. I wish i could be able to see the kids faces when they get these but unfortunately i cant. If I was to do this project i wouldnt change a single thing. Overall i think my project turned out very well. Though the box doesnt really match his cute look and colors im still pleased and i think my monster looks very similar to the drawing by the kindergartener.

Gesture Painting

For this project i got to be the model, while Abbey and Jakob painted me. But after we did a realistic drawing of the person, Mr.Sands told us to make it look like a monster. I got to help out with this part and my personal favorite touch was the pink hair. But we never really got to get around to completing the background. If i was to do this project again i wouldve made it more neat.

Forced Perspective

Doing forced perspective was a very interesting project. I didn`t really enjoy this project as much as others only due to the fact that my group was having a hard time getting it just right. Some of our pictures turned out very well and the picture I put in here was one of the better ones. As you can see i am supposedly holding Sophia in the palm of my hand. Something that would have made it easier is the shadows not being there because they make it kinda hard to picture.

Perspective Drawings

For this project what we did is take a cut out picture from a magazine, find the vanishing points and horizon line and added on to it. What I did is I finished my building just made it a little bigger and then made a city around it. I enjoyed this project because it was something different and it was fun to have something to base it off of and add on to. The one and two point perspective is hard to understand sometimes but i think you end up with really good results.

Skittle Art: In Progress!

For this project what we did is take expressive pictures, and then use photo shop to make them pixelated and the colors of skittles. Then we counted and measured and counted some more to cut out boxes, they were much larger then i expected. Now what were doing is glueing a skittle for each pixle in the picture. Its a LONG process but i think results are gonna be worth it.
