For this project we had to do a "guess what happens next" picture using photoshop. I really enjoyed this project because we could do whatever we wanted and be as creative as photoshop would allow us to be. what i chose to do is a cheerleader tumbling into a hole in the mat that she didnt see. What i did is i used a reguar picture of a cheer gym then i took a picture of a girl doing a full and cropped it to just her and did the same with the hole and put them together and tada! A cheerleader about to fall in a hole. Also with photoshop we made two other pictures as a group. I really enjoyed working with photoshop becuase its a different style of art and we got to work with new materials and such. I didnt get to work out the final details with the frog tounge and the rhebra but

Monsters
Gesture Painting
For this project i got to be the model, while Abbey and Jakob painted me. But after we did a realistic drawing of the person, Mr.Sands told us to make it look like a monster. I got to help out with this part and my personal favorite touch was the pink hair. But we never really got to get around to completing the background. If i was to do this project again i wouldve made it more neat.
Forced Perspective
Doing forced perspective was a very interesting project. I didn`t really enjoy this project as much as others only due to the fact that my group was having a hard time getting it just right. Some of our pictures turned out very well and the picture I put in here was one of the better ones. As you can see i am supposedly holding Sophia in the palm of my hand. Something that would have made it easier is the shadows not being there because they make it kinda hard to picture.

Skittle Art: In Progress!

Shadow Art
We started with a bunch of junk, a slide projector, and our imaginations. We had to pick a theme and use junk to make a shadow and show it.
Our group had some problems picking an idea of what to do.
We started with the idea of a park...
Then a big city at night..
And we finally decided on an underwater theme.
Since it took us so long to decide we really didnt have much time to make it very detailed. What we did was use a blue camelback waterbottle and put it in front of the slide projecter. We turned it on its side so we could have a water line and a boat. For the wave we bent a ruler and held it up. On the bottom we used random things to make coral and a starfish. If i could change one thing about this project i would give more time to plan and execute this project. But i really enjoyed doing this project.
Value Portrait
At first I thought I was really going to hate this project. I`m not the best drawer and i died a little inside when he introduced this project to us. But once he explained that we were not exactly drawing it but more so shading it i was okay. We took the black and white picutres of them and put tracing paper over it and traced all the shapes we saw, then transfered it to paper, not much drawing at all! Then we shaded them according to the picture. We also used this little paper tool to blend the shading together. I never really noticed how much effect shading can have on things untill now. This project was difficult at certain points but overall i was happy with the results and suprised with myself.
